Engineering (Project Lead the Way)

Project Lead the Way (PLTW) is a national program recognized by colleges as a preparatory program for students entering the science, math, computer design and engineering fields. Students benefit from a national curriculum, and some colleges may offer credit for completion of the program. Project Lead the Way courses provide students an opportunity to explore careers, to discover and refine interests, to develop problem solving abilities, to acquire technical knowledge of materials, tools, and processes and understand the relationship between Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. PLTW courses will be credited toward the graduation requirement in the Applied Arts. To learn more about PLTW, please visit the PLTW website at http://www.pltw.org.  Below are the PLTW courses offered at WHS.  Please check the Program of Studies for details and to see which courses are currently running.
