Welcome to the Wilton School District. Whether you are moving into the area for the first time, registering a child in kindergarten, or returning to our schools, please feel free to contact us with any questions about the registration procedures.

About our Town

Our community:   Wilton is a small New England town just 50 miles northeast of New York City. It covers 27.2 square miles of some of the loveliest country in Fairfield County. It enjoys easy access to everything the New York metropolitan area has to offer, while maintaining the rural joys of wooded terrain, stone walls, streams, and open land. This atmosphere is enhanced by the historic landmarks sprinkled throughout the town.

Wilton is a unique combination of research centers/corporate headquarters and rural landscapes, metropolitan sophistication and New England attitudes. The individuality of Wilton's 18,397 citizens is evident in its limitless associations and organizations. These activities rely on volunteers. Parental leisure time revolves around the home, family activities, and community groups.
