Start Times and Procedures

Middlebrook Start Times and Procedures

 

Regular School Day 8:20 a.m. — 2:55 p.m.

Delayed Opening 10:20 a.m.—2:55 p.m.

Drop Off 8:00 a.m.—8:20 a.m. 

*7:15 or 7:30 for morning clubs

*7:30 or 7:45 scheduled appointments for extra help

Pick-ups 2:55 p.m.-3:15 p.m.

Shortened School Day 8:20 a.m. — 12:35 p.m. 

Snow/Emergency Closing 8:20 a.m. — 10:30 a.m.

*Early Morning Activities begin 7:15 or 7:30 (please check Clubs and Activities page)

*After School Activities begin after last bus has been called

 

Unless your child is involved in one of the before-school activities, please do not drop him/her off at school before 7:50 a.m. Teachers are not on duty until 8:00 a.m. and are often busy preparing for the day. All children should be in class no later than 8:20 a.m.

At the discretion of the superintendent, the school can be delayed, dismissed early or canceled. If there is a delay, it is important that you continue to monitor the radio/TV because a delay may become a school closing if the weather deteriorates. On delayed openings, there are no before-school activities. Snow/emergency closings, which normally occur at 10:30 a.m., will also be reported on the radio/TV and the Middlebrook Website at www.wiltonps.org It will also be reported via school messenger. All after-school activities are canceled on early dismissal days.
