Wilton Public Schools inspire and prepare all students to contribute meaningfully to a globally interdependent society. Awards
- Wilton is ranked #3 of all CT school districts by Niche.com.
- Wilton High School is ranked in the top 1% of high schools by US News and World Report.
- For the second time in three years, Cider Mill was designated a "School of Distinction" and had the third
- highest Accountability Index score among grade 3-5 schools in the state.
- Wilton Public Schools recorded the second highest accountability index score in Connecticut, ranking #4 in
- 2023, and #1 in 2022.
- Wilton High School and Middlebrook each had the highest index scores for comprehensive high schools and middle
- schools, respectively.
- The NAMM Foundation awarded the Best Community for Music Education 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Acheivements
- On the CT School Day SAT, Wilton scored #1 in CT in reading and writing with the second highest average score in CT
- Wilton placed #3 in math with the state’s second highest average score.
- Grade 11 ranked #1 in CT and Grade 8 ranked #2 in CT on the NGSS science exam.
- Wilton High School had five National Merit semi-finalists and 19 commended students.
- 96.8% of students taking an AP exam scored a 3 or better.
- AP average scores were 4.27 for 2024 students.
- Wilton Public Schools became a phone-free school district in 2024.
