The College Career Resource Center works closely with the School Counseling Department and provides resources for all WHS students and parents/guardians. It serves as an extension of the many counseling services provided by the school counselors and is under the direction of the Counseling Department’s Instructional Leader.
Come in and explore the Post High School Options appropriate for you. Explore the library of resources available for students regarding the college application process, gap year programs, vocational/technical programs, resume writing and books that focus on the many majors/careers that students may be interested in exploring.
The College Career Resource Center also hosts College Admission Representatives during the fall and spring semesters. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to listen to presentations about specific colleges and also speak directly with the college admissions representatives who are often the “readers” of the student’s college application. All College Rep visits are listed in Schoolinks on the student’s dashboard where students can register to attend.
For additional information regarding the many resources available in the School Counseling Department, please visit the WHS Counseling Hub.
The Center is located in the Counseling hallway. Stop by and work with Mrs. Atanasoff! Phone (203) 762-0381, ext. 6301
